Felix
We got about a foot here in Minneapolis. Sunday was great for snow football though, perfect conditions.
DrunkBomber
I live less then 20 miles west of Chicago and we got dumped on. I went to shovel today and it was pretty much solid ice.
BobDylan
QUOTE(DrunkBomber @ Feb 26, 2007 -> 10:32 PM) I live less then 20 miles west of Chicago and we got dumped on. I went to shovel today and it was pretty much solid ice. How many inches? I'm in Bridgeport, the roads are icey, but the snow levels didn't get very high. It'll be esay to walk. Heads22
We're under a blizzard warning. Stupendous. I spent 15 minutes cleasning my car off today from the last storm, and it's still 85% covered by snow.
Balta1701
QUOTE(DrunkBomber @ Feb 28, 2007 -> 03:14 PM) Well now its thundering outside and its hailing. This is a new one for me. Sometime during my life I would like to experience thundersnow. I've gone through thundering and hailing (dad kept the insurance check on the car, but we got a new roof out of that). Heads22
I've done thundersnow. Like 8 or so years ago, there was no school and a blizzard warning. i was at my aunts down the street building a snow fort with my cousin. It'sd just like regular snow, except it thunders. Felix
It seems like everything is getting hit around here but the campus so far. Still, we're supposed to get a fair amount tomorrow (I think about 10" overall at least). woo Minnesota!

Felix
And the storm starts. Wind is looking pretty strong, and the snow is coming down thickly. I'm really glad I don't have to shovel

vandy125
So, it looks like a Blizzard is coming our way. Omaha has apparently shut down its roads, and a good portion of I-80 west of us is closed.
Heads22
Iowa State has cancelled afternoon classes for the first time in what sounds like decades, and I-35 is closed north of Ames all the way to the MN border. Sounds like I-29 is closed from Council Bluffs north.
