But luckily the public access channel(channel 3) picked up the feed so I am getting it.

Brian
QUOTE(Buehrle>Wood @ Mar 2, 2007 -> 03:31 PM) What channel are these games on in Chicago? It is on Channel 25 up here in Gurnee. The same Comcast channel that airs the high school games not the Comcast that airs Sox games. Bradley and Northern Iowa are going down to the wire now. Rowand44
We had absolutely no business winning that game, we slept walk through out the whole damn thing, we just looked horrendous for the most part, it was very frusterating. BU is definitely a good team(Unfortunately for them, they're going to be a NIT team as their overall resume is just not very impressive) so you definitely have to give them credit but that was not a pretty game. That all being said, there is just something about this team, we know how to pull out games that we shouldn't win. I'm pretty sure this team has taken about 30 years off my life this season but I absolutely love it. Love this team and hopefully we can keep it going tomorrow. CU-MSU game was a bit of a let down. I thought it'd be much better than that but Nate Funk was phenominal and MSU just could not stop him. MSU should still be fine but I'm sure they don't exactly feel comfortable after last season. So tomorrow is exactly how this league should end its season, SIU and Creighton, the two teams that have basically built the foundation to what the Valley is now. Creighton has played the best so far this weekend and right now they just look damn good. Hopefully we're actually ready to play tomorrow and don't have to play from behind all game. We've owned Creighton lately but it's so hard to beat a good team 3 times in a season(though CU did do it to MSU) especially when you have a coach like Dana Altman. This game will most likely come down to the last seconds, hopefully we can just keep doing what we do in close games and pull this one out, I don't want to give the committee any reason to screw us over seeding wise. Now its #1 vs #2 in what could be a matchup of the only two MVC teams to make the tournament. I have a sneaking suspicion that Bradley might sneak in, and Missouri state has a shot as well, but all of the cards have to fall into place for that to happen. WhiteSoxfan1986
Well so much for that #3 seed for the Salukis. Hopefully they can secure a #4 in the midwest.

Hopefully they can secure a #4 in the midwest. They still got a pretty good shot at the 3 seed. Their still number 4 in the RPI and are 8-4 vs. the RPI top 50(5th most in the country). That's one helluva resume. It's not like a loss vs. a top 25 team on a neutral court is going to be frowned upon either.

Really the main blemish is the loss to Evansville.

I could see them doing it though just because Creighton was a bubble team somehow even though they shouldn't have been considered one. Brian
FYI, the 5th foul call on BMull was bogus. That is all. After that, I knew we wouldn't come back.

I agree, but he shouldnt have had that many fouls in the first place. He put himself in a bad spot in the first half, and he had some dumb slap fouls. I wish he would shoot the damn ball, he always passes up those shots he creates for himself until they absolutely need him to shoot it, and then he drills 10 straight points. WTF?! He showed in that few minute stretch how good of a scorer he really can be, I think all Saluki fans know the kid can score if he wants to, he's just too damn unselfish. It's like yesterday he realized that besides JT, no one else showed the hell up and he needed to so something. I hope he looks to create his own shot in the tournament, if he does, it adds another dimension to the offense. whitesoxfan101
I know they won the league and 2 out of 3 head to head, but having seen all 3 of those games, I think Creighton is better than SIU. The win at Carbondale was total luck (15 for 17 in the second half?? please) and the game in Omaha was decided by 1 point. With that said, I wouldn't be surprised if both of them make the Sweet 16.
