winninguglyin83
just saw a picture of BA and he's wearing 32, not 44. Saw he was also listed as 32 on the sox roster. the new 44 is Toby Hall. Anybody know the story? BA just waiting on Hermie to leave to pounce on that number. Can't hurt.
travelinman89
Hall is the vet so Brian gave up his number.

dasox24
The number 32 (in general) will always have a special place in my heart, so I'm all for it! I love to see guys with that number have success, so good luck Mr. Anderson.
aboz56
QUOTE(travelinman89 @ Mar 2, 2007 -> 11:08 AM) Hall is the vet so Brian gave up his number. Wrong, BA had already switched to 32 before Hall was signed.
Pants Rowland
QUOTE(aboz56 @ Mar 2, 2007 -> 11:59 AM) Wrong, BA had already switched to 32 before Hall was signed. Must have been the last sticking point in Hall's negotiations.
Kalapse
QUOTE(aboz56 @ Mar 2, 2007 -> 11:59 AM) Wrong, BA had already switched to 32 before Hall was signed. Exactly. I believe it was a superstitious move more than anything, he wore #32 in the minors but switched to #44 in the bigs and failed miserably. Why not go back to what has worked for you in the past.
