Flash Tizzle
When trying to access Soxtalk's chatroom, which requires a java applet, I'm giving the option of downloading the missing plugin. This is under Mozilla Firefox V.2.0. When I follow the instructions and download the software, nothing happens after completion. It says the transfer was successful, yet, I'm still unable to access the chatroom. The same icon available before installation which says to download a a plugin still mocks me. Ridiculous. Is there an easy solution to this? The exact program in question is J2SE Runtime Environment 5.0 Update 11. RME JICO
Probably due to pop-up blocker or something. You can install manually from here: http://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp Select the second download for offline. Once you have downloaded it and installed, go back to that page and Verify Installation. It should tell you that everything is good to go.
