whitesoxfan101
QUOTE(CanOfCorn @ Mar 9, 2007 -> 10:32 AM) I see A&M over Texas. I'll take a senior leader in Acie Law over 4 freshmen every day. And I'm going to pick the "upset" of A&M over KU. And 101...give me a conference that is stand out this year? There really isn't one. Big East will have a lot of teams in, but maybe 1 that is FF worthy. Pac 10 - I would've said them until UCLA got beat by Cal. SEC - It's Florida and the rest. ACC - Mmm, not so much. Conf USA - Nope. Your correct, but I'm just going in general on the eye test. Watching the Big 10 and 12 games yesterday was like pulling teeth, at least the Big East, Pac 10, and ACC had quality play, even if a lot of good to really good teams lost. Palehosefan
Texas has to get past Baylor first. Baylor has the talent and size to knock them off.

watchtower41
Does KState get in with a win over Tech?? They'd probably be better suited to win one more, and I'd like to think Tech is a lock no matter what they do in this game.

Great the old saying, its hard to beat a team 3 times in one season.

CanOfCorn
Two words, Bob Huggins. If it was some no name coach, not a chance. I still think Tech makes it too.

danman31
QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Mar 9, 2007 -> 04:18 PM) KSU really doesn't deserve to get in. But, they're in now, which sucks. This isn't the same K State team that lost to New Mexico, Cal, and Colorado St. (granted all on the road) earlier in the year. Since the last of those 3 losses they are 18-7 with one loss outside the top 50 (@ Nebraska- RPI 100) with a win @ Texas. The Tech win is a nice one and they deserve to get in IMO. Oh and Baylor is making Mizzou look not as bad. I told you guys they played really well yesterday. They are duplicating it tonight. With A&M out I could see Baylor winning the whole tournament now. They already beat OK State this year and Kansas could feasibly replicate their DePaul and Oral Roberts games.
danman31
Oh well. So much for that Baylor. They followed up a stud half with a non-existent half.
Heads22
I really doubt that Huggins won't get a higher profile job offer if he keeps his nose clean (ish) for a couple of years.....at which point, the 'Cats will resume mediocrity. Buehrle>Wood
Yeah, if this keeps up, no way do they deserve one. They were borderline anyway, so I don't think they get one(again, is this keeps up). Edited March 11, 2007 by Buehrle>Wood
