IlliniKrush
Kentucky up 3 with 5 seconds left, doesn't foul (and had a good opportunity), Miss St takes it the length of the floor and drains a three. All Kentucky had to do was foul, right Soxbadger? Instead they have to play OT. Edit: And Kentucky loses Edited March 9, 2007 by IlliniKrush
watchtower41
QUOTE(IlliniKrush @ Mar 9, 2007 -> 02:31 PM) Kentucky up 3 with 5 seconds left, doesn't foul (and had a good opportunity), Miss St takes it the length of the floor and drains a three. All Kentucky had to do was foul, right Soxbadger? Instead they have to play OT. Edit: And Kentucky loses I think thats the chance you gotta take if you are KY. Morris had 4 fouls, and there was plenty of time for a tip-in with an offensive rebound. Tough loss for Kentucky, especially coming back form 14 down in the 2nd half, great game to watch though. IlliniKrush
Chance of nailing a three > chance of making first, missing 2nd, and a put back. End of story.
watchtower41
QUOTE(IlliniKrush @ Mar 9, 2007 -> 02:47 PM) Chance of nailing a three > chance of making first, missing 2nd, and a put back. End of story. Tough to disagree based on the results of this game...I'd imagine UK nation will just add this as more fuel to Tubby's fire
Jimbo's Drinker
Rick Barnes the next coach of Kentucky.
watchtower41
QUOTE(Jimbo @ Mar 9, 2007 -> 03:55 PM) Rick Barnes the next coach of Kentucky. I could see that. I dont think Tubby is a bad coach, but the pressure is too thick in the bluegrass state.
Balta1701
QUOTE(watchtower41 @ Mar 9, 2007 -> 02:01 PM) I could see that. I dont think Tubby is a bad coach, but the pressure is too thick in the bluegrass state. He may not be a bad coach, but there are many different aspects to college coaching; specifically, the actual coaching part, and the recruiting parts. You can be great at one and simply not good enough at the other and your program will suffer. SI had a littel bit on Smith and recruiting a few days ago.
