November 12, 1985: Released by the New York Yankees. December 5, 1985: Signed as a Free Agent with the Oakland Athletics. He didn't he only played for Montreal in his brief stint in the bigs and never played for a Sox minor league affiliate. Carlos Vasquez on to pitch.
