winninguglyin83
Wasn't today the day Jenks was supposed to throw in a B-game? Has anybody heard if he did throw without any problems? Need to hear good news that Jenks is OK.

RockRaines
Tightness and season long in the same sentence makes me extremely uneasy.
winninguglyin83
considering his past arm/elbow troubles and how hard he throws, this is probably going to remain a concern.
Whitewashed in '05
We'll see how he feels tomorrow and afterwards. Take your time thats for sure. We have some guys who can close it out if Jenks needs an extra week or something.
retro1983hat
Sun Times reported today that Bobby felt great after yesterday's session. Hit about 93-94 mph.
Balta1701
QUOTE(retro1983hat @ Mar 6, 2007 -> 06:54 AM) Sun Times reported today that Bobby felt great after yesterday's session. Hit about 93-94 mph. IIRC, that's faster than he was throwing at this point last spring.

Kalapse
Clayton Richards gave it his best shot but failed to severely injure Bobby Jenks yesterday. Clayton made an errant throw that ended up striking Jenks in the neck. He was ok, he actually said being hit in the neck helped him yesterday, it made him stay on the ball longer. http://chicagosports.chicagotribune.com/sp...-home-headlines
SoxAce
Ha! Richards would have gotten his ass kicked.
Chisoxfn
QUOTE(SoxAce @ Mar 12, 2007 -> 12:47 PM) Ha! Richards would have gotten his ass kicked. I hope Jenks wasn't really about to tackle him. I don't know why but I figure that stuff happens. At least it wasn't like Angels camp when Discarscina's career officially ended (after quite a few comebacks) when he had his elbow broken by a fungo bat. And now Gary D. does stuff for NESN. 3 BeWareTheNewSox 5
Bobby probably wouldn't be the only one who would have wanted to kill Clayton Richards
LVSoxFan
QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Mar 6, 2007 -> 10:49 AM) IIRC, that's faster than he was throwing at this point last spring. You recall correctly.
