It's not bad. I dont really like your bench hitters, or moises alou.

And your SP im not personally fond of .(Rich harden has injury issues, Curt schilling is getting ancient, so is Glavine).

Your RP is pretty good, not bad.

Hitting is nice with Hafner, Reyes, Wells, Abreu.

I dont like Rolen as much either.

But overall, a pretty nice team. Got some good balance.

I too am not a fan of your SP. Harden and a trio of 40 year olds could hit the fan really quickly. Love your offense. Alou is the only weak spot imo, but how many teams really are complete 1-9? Not many. Kinsler's gonna have a big year IMO.

My hitting is solid, no worries there for me I have almost all stats covered.

Pitching could be problem, saves shouldnt be a problem, and everyone knows free agency is always good to find that gem pitcher that comes out of nowhere which is my plan.

Nicely balanced team, speed and power, really important. Pitching would probably be the weaker part of your team but you have lots of upside.

I love the Teahen pick, Ive found 3B to be a weak spot in the draft and Ill either take him or Crede as my third basemen, hes bound to put up bigger numbers. Bonds is also a great fantasy pick regardless of what others say. Whos corey hart?

Nicely done, although Ive heard Timlin so far wins the closer spot position but just a rumor.

Hart's a major sleeper in Milwaulkee with speed and power potential, going to be the Brewers everyday RF.

I think Teahen will get OF elgibility as well which makes him more valuable.

OF is the easy spot to fill. Here are all the guys on my team that have OF eligibility:

Youk

Gomes

Duncan

Scott

Manny

Jenkins

Freel

Gomes, Freel, Duncan, Jenkins and Scott all have drastic LHP/RHP splits so I have a great platoon going. I'm still debating if I should try and trade for Eric Byrnes or pick up Bobby Kielty off waivers.

10 team league, drafted 7th.

C Brian McCann

1B Adrian Gonzalez

2B Chase Utley

3B Chad Tracy

SS Bill Hall

OF Carl Crawford

OF Jason Bay

OF Nick Markakis

UT Jim Thome

BN Richie Sexson

BN Carlos Guillen

BN Pat Burrell

BN Joe Crede

BN Jhonny Peralta

SP Carlos Zambrano

SP Brandon Webb

SP Scott Kazmir

SP Erik Bedard

SP Jeremy Sowers

RP Bobby Jenks

RP Mike Gonzalez

BN Anibal Sanchez

Thoughts? I think I need to strengthen my bullpen and 1B, but past that I like my situation. Tracy and Crede are a good platoon at third, and I think Peralta will bounce back from a poor 2006.

That offense is sick, insane balance. I like the top 2 in your starting staff too, which is really all you need (you can find fill-in guys). I would guess you'll need a RP at some point though...

Aw hell, I'll post one of mine too...

C- Mike Piazza

1B- Justin Morneau

2B- Tadahito Iguchi

SS- Jose Reyes

3B- Aramis Ramirez

OF- Manny Ramirez

OF- Torii Hunter

OF- Barry Bonds

U- Paul Konerko

B- Chris Young

B- Chad Tracy

B- Chris Burke

SP- Ben Sheets

SP- John Lackey

RP- Brad Lidge

RP- Jason Isringhausen

P- C.C. Sabathia

P- Josh Beckett

P- A.J. Burnett

B- Jonathan Broxton

B- Anibal Sanchez

Outside of my pitching being high-risk/high-reward, I'm quite happy with this one...

Are you f'n kidding me?

Who the hell else was drafting? Are saves worth 1,000 points? What gives?

Yea, I kinda like how my team shaped up, but I'm not convinced Gonzalez will repeat last years performance in the pen and Jenks worries me with his health always. It's a head to head league with these stats: R, 1B, 2B, 3B, HR, RBI, SB, K, A, FPCT, AVG, W, L, SV, HR, BB, HBP, K, BLK, SB, ERA, WHIP

I'm likely going to deal Bill Hall just because I know I can get a kings ransom for him (probably Ryan Howard/David Ortiz) and I don't think he'll be as good as last year, but past that my roster is basically going to be untouched barring any injuries.

Zoom, isn't Wickman closing for Atlanta?

Yes and following the tradition of the Braves closer carousel once Wickman fails Raphael Soriano probably has the inside track to close games out. I'm not so sure they want to move Gonzalez into the closer's role this year.

Yea, I wasn't sure about that situation, which is why I want to upgrade the pen.

keep in mind he did say it was a 10 team league and not the usual 12 team league so he should have a better than normal team.

Yeah, but not sure why that was directed at me, I have no Braves on my roster (and DBAHO, the one I commented on, only has James, a starter). :huh

Oh, I did think about that, but I count 5 guys who would often go in the top 3 rounds of a 12-team league (Utley, Crawford, Bay, Zambrano, and Webb). I don't know how you get all those players even in a 10-team league -- especially drafting deep in the 5th round.

Your team is solid, jones and borowski could be scary in closers position, both generally struggle and have a younger guy to salvage their spot if both teams need it. I like your starters besides for buehrle. Batting is great lots of power not much in speed but its overrated.

Keep an eye on zumaya ;)

Well in Soxtalk League 1 for example Chase Utley went in the top 5 but Crawford fell to the mid second round where I grabbed him, I drafted Zambrano in the mid 3rd round and Brandon Webb ended up going in the early 5th.

So it's not totally out of the question, you just need a little luck and a few odd picks ahead of you.

Injury prone yes? What im worried about, cause Bay, Sheff, Weeks, and Beltran are all capable of hitting the DL which would ruin my hitting but Im not too worried about it. Pitchin is solid, I actually am about to accept a deal of me getting Ben Sheets, giving up Putz and Duncan, will help my pitching. I think i can pull off a trade of Jones to guy who has zumaya.

I like my balance though and SPs are consistent year in year out.
