Harry Chappas
QUOTE(NorthSideSox72 @ Mar 8, 2007 -> 03:17 PM) Error by Crede puts the Rocks in the lead. Poppin 'em up and droppin 'em ain't what Boras is looking for in a client.

PK's homer was the turning point in that whole series. I can honestly say Konerko's homer was my favorite sports memory ever.
RockRaines
He seemed to be ok, but couldnt pitch over an error. I wish I could have seen if he was working on specific pitches this inning or what, because in the previous innings he was getting nothing but groundouts. NorthSideSox72
QUOTE(fathom @ Mar 8, 2007 -> 03:22 PM) PK's homer was the turning point in that whole series. I can honestly say Konerko's homer was my favorite sports memory ever. The Konerko slam was awesome, but for me, the Pods walk-off was even sweeter. And yeah, I was there too. RockRaines
QUOTE(fathom @ Mar 8, 2007 -> 03:22 PM) PK's homer was the turning point in that whole series. I can honestly say Konerko's homer was my favorite sports memory ever. Easily, being at the game, it was much cooler than PODS. In fact Crede's double in ALCS game 2 could be my second fav ever. Y2HH
QUOTE(fathom @ Mar 8, 2007 -> 03:22 PM) PK's homer was the turning point in that whole series. I can honestly say Konerko's homer was my favorite sports memory ever. I loved the Konerko homer -- but I have to admit, Pods was far more dramatic -- obviously. Pods is also my favorite baseball player because he's not a bloated up 6 thousand foot tall home run power hitter. And he's fast. I'm a small guy who liked to steal bases and slap hit in my baseball days -- so people like Pods rule.

In fact Crede's double in ALCS game 2 could be my second fav ever. Crede's double in that game was beyond awesome. That whole inning in fact - AJ going to 1st on the K, Ozuna stealing 2nd, and Crede's double - best inning ever.

From my pov, I thought the Konerko situation was so much more dramatic. The Pods homer was more surprising, but the PK homer was surreal. Hell, I was still pissed at Pods noodle arm for letting Burke score on that single in the 9th.

That whole inning in fact - AJ going to 1st on the K, Ozuna stealing 2nd, and Crede's double - best inning ever. Even with all of the world series stuff...I still don't know if there was a moment I am more a fan of than Joe Crede vs. David Riske. I don't think any of the other moments even happen without that swing.
