AddisonStSox
Love it. We need more of this.
SoxFan562004
Link wasn't working for me, so if this is in the article, I apologize. I believe on the Score yesterday I heard he got 120 w/ day for day credit to apply, meaning he'll likely onlys serve 60 days. Day for day means you get 2 days credit for every 1 day served with good behavior. However, it's rare when they don't grant that credit, so he should be out in mid-may. Y2HH
He's gonna be in trouble in there for losing the Super Bowl. They're gonna touch him places... ;D I'm glad that scumbag went to jail. But it shouldn't be for the short time it was. If that was one of us -- we'd have been sentenced for 4 years or something.

Don't forget, he was under house arrest since it happened...except for the Super Bowl. I'm sure they added that in too.
Chisoxfn
That is way more than people typically get for violating probation (I know this because my buddies brother with two strikes got a whopping month and a half in prison). Albeit none of his charges involved weapons.
DrunkBomber
How come Tank has to go to jail and Pacman still gets to eat dots wherever he wants?
shipps
It bothers me that the only reason he got what he did is because of his celebrity. One of the top prosecutors in this state is going against him for a MISDEMEANOR c'mon.I have no problem with sending him to jail because he is a jackass, but the same punishment should be given to all these other creeps.More so the regular guys who violate because they are probably career criminals,Tank atleast has a pro career and is less of a threat to the community. That's just not how it works. Tank has a better lawyer, a lawyer who can make a case out of nothing. The lawyer negotiates for the charge to be reduced to a misdemeanor. He pleads guilty. Its about money not celebrity.

Bottom line is it was overdone from the start. His house was stormed by a swat team that expected to get alot more than they actually did.Legal analysts were saying the worst he would get was 90 days,no one speculated he would get the time he was sentenced. And you still didnt explain why the prosecution brought in the big guns to go against him.Tank was treated diffrently for who he was thats all Iam saying. Queen Prawn
From what I heard, the worst he could have gotten for parole violation (when guns/ammo are involved) is a year. So 120 days isn't so bad considering the most he is likely to serve is 60 days. Maybe he will learn his lesson (his own family said he was hanging out with a bad crowd and needed to get away from doing that).
