SoxAce
QUOTE(BigSqwert @ Nov 9, 2007 -> 10:13 AM) I am one of the few. Bmags, mhizzle, and hammerhead johnson are some others. I'm definitely one even though I'm a bigger fan of true hip-hop. There's others. CWSGuy406, SoxFan1, etc.. Middle Buffalo
QUOTE(YASNY @ Nov 4, 2007 -> 12:04 PM) I'm listening to Eric Clapton doing Bob Dylan's "Don't Think Twice, It's Alright". OMG it's kicking my ass. Album: Bob Dylan: The 30th Anniversary Concert Celebration Old guy music. Nice. I bought "The Essential Bruce Springsteen" a few weeks ago and was stunned to learn that he did the original version of "Blinded by the Light" - the Manfred Mann (sp?) song. I can't stop listening to Bruce's version. I had no idea. Never been too crazy about the Manfred Mann version, either. Chombi
what are we supposed to pm you for? I was saying to pm me cuz I like to talk music but rap isn't as popular as rock on these types of boards...So if anyone wanted to chat I'd be down. Especially more underground as opposed to mainstream. That and it just hit me to check back now, so clearly like i said, i'd forget. Texsox
I just had one of those stopped dead in my tracks musical moments. Where a song all of a sudden just slaps you across the face and says listen, this is important. Funny, I've probably heard the song a thousand times before, but this arrangement maybe a dozen or less. Anyway, had my headphones on, doing some homework, feeling the blues slightly. Plowing away on a tedious assignment. Then I heard Long and Winding Road (from Let it Be Naked) for the first time as a Christian song. (Jim, don't cry) Wow. Ive been bumping cool kids 'totally flossed out ep' I don't think they were trying to hit a 70's sound with the album, just trying to make the songs similar to the movie. Good call on the "Totally Flossed Out" EP, I'm liking The Cool Kids alot lately.

Rex Kickass
By the way, I'm all about this ridiculous Romanian/German MC named "Miss Platnum." Klezmer backing, big girl with a single called "GIVE ME THE FOOD." It's too good to be true, yet it is.
CWSGuy406
To bring the hip-hop part of this thread back, the albums I am most eagerly awaiting are... Wu-Tang Ghostface Saigon in that order. I'm fairly certain all three albums are December releases. Edited November 13, 2007 by CWSGuy406
