Dick Allen
QUOTE(The Critic @ Apr 15, 2007 -> 03:17 PM) I'm seeing them on September 8th, I can't wait and I AM a huge fan! I've seen them twice before and they were great both times! I'll be there on the 8th also in Milwaukee on the 6th and may go see them in Germany in October. I've seen them so many times and have never been dissappointed. Since they went with The Evening with Rush concept with no warm- up band and 3 hours of music, its been a Rush fan's dream. Pauly8509CWS
New Arctic Monkeys is absolutely fantastic. Flourescent Adolescent is an excellent song. And I'm just getting into the new NIN record, totally weird story with that whole album but it caught my interest.
shipps
I really like the Cold War Kids.Only beef is that the singer over sings but the band as a whole is great. Not a five star album but there is definetly a few five star songs on it.

The Critic
The new ones from Machine Head and WASP are better than I'd have expected them to be. WASP's new one "Dominator" is very solid, and "The Blackening" could definitely make some "Best Of" lists for 2007.

My favorites are Almost Ready and Been There All The Time. It comes out May 1st and I'll get out there to grab a disc! I've heard most if and yes, it rocks. The tour kicks off next month at Casbah in SD followed by three nights at the Troubador in L.A. I think the Padres and Dodgers are at home during the same time too. I already took the time off from work to catch at least two of these shows, I'M GEEKED! By the way, Matt Dillon will be directing one of their videos. What's the deal with Dino asking for phone numbers to register for the pre-sale? I'm not giving anyone my phone number - I get enough f***ing telemarketer calls as it is. I'll wait for the general public on-sale date, if I go at all.
