DBAHO
After the season he had for Charlotte last year, he'll have to repeat it, and really produce. The clock is starting to tick a bit for him.
Damen
QUOTE(shoota @ Mar 19, 2007 -> 04:19 PM) What outfield prospect did KW give to Arizona a couple years back? That would be the frontrunner for NL Rookie of the Year, projected as a 282avg/538slg/ 20HR/20SB Chris Young. But hey, we lost a much needed reliever (for last year anyways), but got back Vazquez in return. That trade will go down as the worst Williams ever makes. Vance Law
QUOTE(Damen @ Mar 19, 2007 -> 07:08 PM) That would be the frontrunner for NL Rookie of the Year, projected as a 282avg/538slg/ 20HR/20SB Chris Young. He hasn't had a batting average as high as .282 since rookie ball. ESPN projects his batting average at .
BearSox
I highly doubt it, as Pods, Erstad, and Owens are all lefties, and that would pretty much screw us vs. lefty pitchers. Edited March 20, 2007 by BearSox

In other words...Owens is batting 3rd. So long JD! Edited March 20, 2007 by Balta1701

I have no idea why I wrote that would screw us against righties... I meant lefties, obviously

But I'd eat a catcher's mitt if he bats .248 this year. This guy is being praised as a probable ROY candidate by far more than BP right now. Then again, if Young was still on the Sox, he wouldn't have a spot anyways, what with Erstad, Pods, and Ozuna clogging up Ozzie's lineup card.
