Something to keep an eye on

Twins catcher A.J. Pierzynski, a noted pest, collided into Thomas' left arm after a harmless groundout. The ball came loose, but way too late.

"I guess he was trying to knock it out," Thomas said. "It's perfectly legal but I didn't expect it. I was like: Whatever. He's known for doing that, trying to get stuff started."

For those who didn't see it, what happened was AJ grounded one to either SS or 2B, and as he ran out the grounder, for some reason he bumped into Frank as he was trying to throw the ball around the horn (standard procedure when nobody is on base). The ball came flying out, and both Frank and AJ turned to each other and were like "WTF are you doing?". The umpire kind of stepped between them just in case either one tried something, but neither did.

Frank's great for saying that above quote, and I'm sure it will get back to the Twins' clubhouse before tomorrow's game.

The rekindling of bad blood? Let's hope so!

:bringit AJ, you pussy

And :fyou :fyou :fyou :fyou :fyou :fyou :fyou :fyou the Twins!

Doesn't seem like we always have bad blood between Chi and Minny? How about the f*** Dino banners at the Hawks games in the late 80s? I remember someone had a Dino doll hanging by a noose and the North Stars refused to come on the ice until it was removed. And wasn't it against Minny when the Hawks had a 30 minute pre-game brawl when VanDorp decked a guy during the skate around before the game? I also seem to recall a Viking slamming McMahon into the turf and knocking him out of a game.

AJ has always been a dirty scrappy player. I like guys like that if they're on my team but otherwise theyre just the next John Starks. Frank would squash AJ like a bug. Also JG is pitching today, maybe he will "lose control of one" with this little chickens*** at the plate.

We got to the game about midway through the brawl. My first words were "who did VanDorp deck?" As I remember the game ended sometime after midnight with hours of penalties. I couldn't even tell you who won or what the score was but I do recall gloves all over the ice.

From what i can remember, that game was the roughest i've seen...it was unbelievable

Agreed.

And you're not the only one who would love to see Thomas and Pierzynski "tango"....tango in this instance means Frank would knock AJ on his ass and sit on him until AJ yelled "uncle uncle!" :D
