Ed Farmer to Miss the Opener

I can understand why Singleton would be uncomfortable in the booth with Farmer, the man's ego probably has Chris pinned in the corner of the room. Farmer just has one of those personalities that could put an inexperienced broadcaster like Singleton uneasy, he commands the booth and doesn't seem to even want to interact with Singleton for most of the broadcast. It's probably what makes Farmer such a brutal broadcaster.

 

A Jackson/Singleton television crew like we saw in spring training would be fantastic though, those 2 guys have amazing chemistry when together. A Stone/McDowell booth on the radio could probably work out pretty well too, you wouldn't have a set play by play guy but you'd have 2 guys who are incredibly knowledgeable and comfortable announcing a game just kind of telling you what's happening on the field.

I'd enjoy both of those teams.

It would get rid of Farmer without bringing in Wills, and that works just fine for me.
