Chi Town Sox
C - Russell Martin 1B - Jason Giambi 2B - Chase Utley 3B - Troy Glaus SS - Hanley Ramirez OF - Carl Crawford OF - Delmon Young OF - Nick Markakis Util - Jim Thome SP - Roy Halladay SP - John Lackey SP - Curt Schilling SP - John Patterson SP - Cole Hamels SP - Matt Cain SP - Noah Lowry SP - Kelvim Escobar RP - Joe Nathan RP - Chad Cordero RP - Brian Fuentes RP - Octavio Dotel Obviously My pitching is a great strength, with Schilling being my 5th starter taken. I love my OF upside and speed as a team, but I am not sure if i should make a move for an established OF (upper tier or one who steals.) Any help would be appreciated. Oh and if you haven't noticed, I am a pitching freak haha Edited April 1, 2007 by Chi Town Sox
ChWRoCk2
Whats your bench look like? If your league has one? If you feel your OF is weak you dont necessarily need to look for a trade, just find good fill ins on off days. But with all the pitching you have it might not be a bad idea to try to offer some pitching for a solid OF. As for what type OF you should get, why not both steals and power, think Abreu, Wells, Hunter, Sizemore. With your pitching you could get them. Even if you have to lose a good pitcher theres bound to be a solid FA pickup after week one. Id say wait a week or two, see how ur hitters are fairing and make your best judgement.
