Steve9347
QUOTE(kyyle23 @ Apr 30, 2007 -> 09:43 AM) I have loved the way they have broken down Ari and how they are rebuilding his character. He has always been one of the strongest, if not the strongest character in the show. The way they pulled the rug out from under him and revealed a different side of Ari has been a really great part of this season to watch. Im really curious as to how Ari got in the good graces of the head of Warner Bros(I think that was the production company) to free up Medillan for Vince. I thought Vince burned that bridge to the ground. Yes, I am interested to see how this plays out. Mediilen seemed like it was dead, but its fairly obvious Ari is going to pull it off and Vince will be back. I adored in an episode a week ago or so, when Ari looked at his screensaver and saw himself and Vince together and started crying. Then he got his "Ari-ness" back and the way he fired that guy was classic. "Tell me if you can read this." Then he scribbles, with his hair everywhere, "GET THE F*CK OUT!" Hilarious. Kyyle23
QUOTE(RockRaines @ Apr 30, 2007 -> 09:48 AM) Warners didnt have that movie, they have I wanna be sedated i thought. I think Vince pretty much F-ed himself all around on the "I want to be sedated" deal. I thought I remembered the VP letting Ari know Vince isnt getting any of their films any time soon. What killed Medillan? It was filming at the same time as Aquaman 2, right? I cant remember what killed it, the gap between episodes makes me forget

I cant remember what killed it, the gap between episodes makes me forget They were filming at the same time but figured out a way to do both films. Than the head of Warners told him he didn't want him to do Medillan because AquaMan is a franchise and he didn't want kids seeing their superhero doing lines of coke in every theatre in the country. Vince felt betrayed and said he would quit A2 unless he got $20 mil. Warner Bro got Jake Gylenhall to replace Vince. Medillian casted Benicio Del Toro instead of Vince during all the crap going on with A2.

retro1983hat
I was expecting Artie Lange to be funnier, but I do like the banter between Ari and his wife. No matter what, Vince has to end up back with Ari. I love the show, but it won't be the same until they are back together.

DrunkBomber
They still have never said what Aris wifes name is. Shes credited on IMDB as Mrs Ari still.
DrunkBomber
I liked this weeks episode. The impression I got from the preview for next week Vince pretty much tells Ari if he can land the movie he'll go back with him.

BobDylan
Stewie Griffen to Vinny Chase: "Oh, b****, you got jacked b****." Great episode. Ari bringing up a Phil Mickelson meltdown reference, his wife taking his phone's away and walking back to temple with his head down like a little kid. King pissing on the driveway. Does Vince have any choice but to go back to Ari now?
Kyyle23
I thought that the entire episode revolving around Yom Kippur was hilarious. Ari and Rubenstein were great as the "kids outside smoking" with their cell phones trying to get the deal done. Jenksismyhero
I've been a big fan of this show since episode one, but I dunno, I feel this season its getting worse and worse. The success of season 1 wasn't really about the plot (him trying to land a movie and gain status), it was about the interactions between the characters and all the crazy stuff rich young people do. But buying a horse? Come on. I'm also really starting to get annoyed by Drama. He has the same type of lines in each episode, and they never do much of anything. And really the whole Medien (?) plot is pretty lame. "We've been working hard for two years on this project." Really? Have you? We haven't seen much of that, besides making one big movie studio exec pissy. And if it was that important why didn't they run to Ari the minute he said he could get it for him? Why dily-daly around last week and then suddenly get interested this week? They need to get back to the original formula: have the show be about the crazy things these guys do because of the money they have and the palce they live, with the occasional real actor/actress cameo appearance. No more Drama 'I got this bro' crap.

Medillian was first mention in the first episode of season 2. They have mentioned it a lot. It is Vince's dream project after he did Queens Boulevard. Vince wasn't big enough to get Medillian until he did Aquaman. Ari was acting on rumors when he heard Del Toro wasn't loving it anymore. At that time, Benicio was still on the movie. He could only do so much. It sounds like you would rather watch a show that has the four guys sitting around talking about guy stuff with nothing interesting to move the show along. And Johnny Drama is the man.

Top Notch
Johnny Drama gave me an ab workout last night with some of his one liners. He's the best character on the show.
CWSGuy406
SPOILERS What a very cheerful ending to that episode. I mean, everyone got what they want; Johnny's series is a hit; Turtle gets the girl; Vince and Eric get what they want . The season finale has to be either next week or the following week, but whenever it is, I can't imagine everything working out roses like it did this week. Entourage busted out a few new moves tonight. Was a surprisingly emotional episode. I've always thought that in the end Drama would end up carrying the crew while Vince fell flat on his back. I have a feeling that's what's going to happen with his "dream project." Haven't there been rumors that they're trying to cut Vince out of the show? Seems like a good way to do it... That sort of bums me out -- I'm sort of oblivious to those kind of things, so I wouldn't know. It's tough for me to see the show without Vince, though, considering the rest of the crew is living off him. He almost seems like the most vital character. I agree that tonight was a bit different. I didn't know what Drama was going to do when he got the keys to the car. The ending "Victory!" was classic, though.
retro1983hat
How many more episodes this year? Drama, E, and Turtle are the show. Vince may be the main character but he offers very little. But I guess it's kind of like Seinfeld where George, Kramer and Elaine were more of the show than Jerry.

The show revolves around Vince, but it's not about Vince. That's why it's called Entourage and not The Leading Man or something like that. Did Turtle drop his name? I didn't think so, but maybe I missed it? I said this last episode, but it just seems like something is going to blow up for someone soon as everything has gone well for the group the past two episodes. It'll be interesting to see if their collective string of 'good luck' continues in the next couple weeks.

retro1983hat
Line of the show for once wasn't Ari. It was Turtle's new girlfriend's younger brother when he said: "Daddy she's jerking off a boy in the car again."
