Chisoxfn
The weekly renditions of Mario Scalise, Jason Gage and Alex Ernst have begun as the crew of the Southside Report (formerly known as Soxtalk On the Air) discuss the Sox start to the season as well as breakdown the keys for the 2007 ball club. Jason and Alex also provide the FutureSox report, a 5-10 minute weekly spotlight on the minor leagues. To finish it all off, they all go out on a limb and make there season long predictions. Listen Here Plus keep an eye out for the new Southside Report page that will be launched in the next 2 weeks featuring archived versions of all the shows as well as a built in media player so you can listen to the show directly from the front page. greasywheels121
Ahhh, now the season is officially underway that I got to listen to the greatness that is the podcast. I agree that Contreras isn’t our ace, Gage. However, I don’t think I’ve heard that he was, maybe I’m not paying attention close enough. However, I wouldn’t give that edge to him. I don’t know if we have that “ace” on our team, but I like our staff as a whole. I agree that we’re a power team, and this team needs to be able to manufacture runs during those times where the power’s not there. We’ve got to decrease the dependency to score our runs on the home runs. Erstad’s been great so far. He seems like he’s definitely going to be a positive signing for the Sox, proving a lot of people wrong. I agree with Mario though. If Pods begins to struggle (which surprisingly hasn’t happened yet), Erstad has move over to LF. I don’t feel entirely comfortable with him in CF everyday. LMAO Gage about the Tigers and Twins during the predictions. Heads, you’re an evil bastard. Well done guys, good to have you back reppin’ the Southside. And I’m looking forward to the radio page and archives.

Mr. Showtime
Is this a rib? There's no way the voice I'm hearing is Alex aka Heads. I refuse to believe this, I've seen his photo. I don't mean to be offensive but common now. EDIT: I don't even mean what he's saying, he knows his stuff, but just the sound, I was expecting a different tone. Jason you sounded like you should be on sports radio when you shouted out Contreras was over-rated. EDIT2: Just finished the show, this was awesome. Jason, you killed me when you picked the Brewers. Just the way you said it was great.

BearSox
Just a question... had Contreras pitched well on opening day or if you guys knew about these problems going on with him and his family right now, would you still have b****ed about him? witesoxfan
just wanna throw a little stat that you can relate to Jason... Since Erstad broke into the league with the Angels in 1996, average win totals per year since... White Sox - 85.2 Angels - 83.5 the Sox had enough of a winning attitude already goddammit
Heads22
It just bothers me that Jason and I were pretty much on the same wavelength the entire show.
Chisoxfn
Well I've finally fixed the podcast feed so people can now go back and subscribe via itunes. Oh and as far as Jose goes, I was simply sick of hearing so many people call him an ace because of what he did in the first half of last season. I am the type of person that thinks that guys need to have a proven track record before I start throwing around the "ace" term.

Chisoxfn
We are still working on the rotation but it will likely be Mario and I involved in 2 out of every 4 shows, with Alex coming in and working with one of Mario and I for a show and than somewhere in that mix we'll run in hopefully one or two consistent guest hosts (ocassionally that may be someone to come in for FutureSox or Soxtalk pieces and other times it will be bloggers or other podcasters from other baseball sites/casts
