southsideirish71
We are 29th out of 30 teams in all of the majors for Batting average with a 225BA. We are 19th in runs scored.
maggsmaggs
Where the f*** is our offense? My god, it doesn't matter if Danks shuts em out the rest of the game, we arent gonna score any runs. Hopefully this is like the last Oakland game, but we need some runs, come on Paul Byrd is not exactly Santana.
SoxAce
It's up to our 6-9 hitters to carry us again. Who would have thought? Even though most knew our 1-2 wouldn't do much.

However, his command is not even close to being MLB ready. He'd break the MLB record for homers allowed if he last the whole year. I'm still waiting to see his fastball get over 90 mph like we were told it would. I wonder if they'll teach him a 2-seamer.

I agree DA, its not that I mind grindErstad being on the team for what he makes salary-wise, but whats the point of him playing everyday, when BA could put the same numbers up, play better defense, and get the work he needs if hes ever going to develop a better approach at the plate.
