Murton is just rotting, and with Pie looking real sharp, and Soriano hurting his hammy, i could see the cubs wanting to protect him by putting him back in LF, Mack provides everything they need a power lhb off the bench and decent defense in a number of positions.

 

He may be sitting, but his value still seems to be higher than Macks. He is younger, cheaper, and has potential to be a very solid starter. Mack is a super-sub (one of the best in the game but still, not a starter), so it looks to me like we would have to throw in a mid level prospect, maybe a Honel, it just seems like the Cubs wouldnt go for a straight up trade, maybe a Corwin Malone...
