I am so pissed off!!! How DARE Mark make me choose between LOST and a no hitter! That isn't faiR! It wasn't easy to position myself and my TVs so that I could see both of them, and I had to update the wife as well! ACK!

One word my friend... TiVo

If anyone has comcast, they will show it again at like 1:30-2:00 am I believe. Also I believe tomorrow morning. Granted it won't be the same as actually watching it live, but at least you can still see every pitch.

The Cubs game is on at 1:30AM the Sox game will be replayed tomorrow at 1:30PM.

I watched this from the Bar at Tuscany in Oakbrook. Mark looked great. Those cutters at the end were so nasty. Thats the key for Mark, run that cutter in.

Congrats to Mark, and congrats to the Sox for a great game. It was nerve racking watching them hold on to that 1-0 lead, glad to see Dye made them pay.

Our pitching has been great this year.

On April 18, 2007, Buerhle no-hit the Texas Rangers at U.S. Cellular Field, the first no-hitter in the stadium's history. It was the sixteenth such game in team history and the first since Wilson Alvarez threw one in 1991. He actually faced the minimum number of batters, walking Sammy Sosa but picking him off the base for an out. It was the first no-hitter by a White Sox pitcher at home since Joe Horlen on September 10, 1967. Buehrle struck out eight Rangers during the game.

I love how fast people update wikipedia.

Well since this is technically a Post Game thread I'd just like to add that Jim Thome's line for the season looks like this: .342/.519/.842/1.361 he is f***ing great right now.

Those stats are almost Erstadian.

Who else thought it was over in the 7th (i think) when crede missed a ball on a dive adn then Juan threw out the speedy Kinsler from deep in the hole. Thats likely the unsung play of the game (and there were many including Dye's catch at the wall and Crede's play on Hairston)

i thought the last out was gonna be way closer than it was.

Listen my children and you shall hear

Of the no hitter of Mark Buehrle,

On the eighteenth of April, in O-Seven;

Hardly a man is now alive

Who doesn't remembers that famous day and year.

He said to his friend, "If the Rangers hit

By land or sea from the town to-night,

Hang a curveball aloft in the belfry arch

Of the North Church tower as a signal light,--

One if by land, and two if by sea;

And I on the opposite side will be,

Ready to pitch and strike out the batters

Through every Middlesex village and farm,

For the country folk to be up and to defend."

f-it... Im not going to edit the whole Paul Revere poem into the Buehrle no-no poem... tis too tough.

He should never have been moved out of the 2 hole.

Darin Erstad - .156 average. I'll find something negative even if someone throws a no-no. :D

quite frankly though I don't give a s***, hats off (on? VT) to MB, I kinda can't be pissed at anyone right now. Buehrle is a god among men right now.
