The Ginger Kid
I don't know if any of you have ever browsed Motown Sports, but it's a cool Tigers site with passionate fans like you'll find here. One of them is a guy named Brain Bluhm, aka Estrepe1. A very knowledgable fan. Apparently he was a victim of the shooting earlier this week. Here's a link to a memorial page they have for him in case you'd like to read more. What a waste. Motownsports
Brian
Horrific. I see he was a regular over there so I am sure those people, whether they met him in person or not, have lost a good friend.
Bonderman38
Brian was great..we'll miss him, but it is being taken much better than I expected..
Sonik22
Wow, that is horrific! It's so amazing the bond that is formed on these sites with a lot of us not even meeting each other. I can't even imagine what those people are feeling. RIP
Harry Chappas
That really sucks. Looked on their board and seems Sox fans have sent their well wishes. Seemd like a great guy and poster. Edited April 20, 2007 by Jenks Heat
whitesoxfan101
QUOTE(Bonderman38 @ Apr 20, 2007 -> 10:41 AM) Brian was great..we'll miss him, but it is being taken much better than I expected.. Yeah, the kids at VT have been so strong through all of this, it should be commended. RIP to the young man, this has been affecting me all week with basically my best friend from HS being a student at Tech that narrowly missed being in the middle of all this, and his best friend survived the horror in Norris, but saw some things nobody ever should. RIP Brian, you will be missed very much.
Yoda
Man, that's terrible. This incident has no doubt touched a lot of people around the nation. I can only imagine what relatives and friends are going through right now.
Jordan4life_2007
Man, that's horrible. I'd have a fit if anybody from this site got hurt or killed.
pierard
I just read about Brian in Curtis Granderson's blog. A real shame. One things for sure though, Granderson's a class act. You can read his blog here (some good stuff about Granderson's buddies being sox fans) : http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/blog/index?...anderson_curtis Edited April 21, 2007 by pierard
Queen Prawn
Yes he is. I wonder if Granderson was at UIC when I was...I graduated Dec 2000 and he mentions being there during 9/11.
