southsideirish71
QUOTE(SoxFanForever @ Apr 20, 2007 -> 07:32 PM) Did you miss Darrin "Waving Arms" Kaline? Uribe waved everyone off, and barely speaks english. I will give both of them for being morons. Our defense needs to be fixed. Its mental errors or stupid throws. Catch the f***ing mile high popup. Horrible rule, should be changed. lol, it can be an error. so if a ball goes through the legs of someone and it doesnt touch anything, then its a hit? southsideirish71
QUOTE(RockRaines @ Apr 20, 2007 -> 07:32 PM) The f***ing detoliet scorekeeper gave Maggs an rbi double Uribe let it bounce. Its only an error if he touches it. Danks can thank the bright defense for the 3 earned runs. Its bad enough that Walkers offense is wetting the bed against Chat Durbin and his 12 ERA. But this is stupid.
shawnhillegas
I cant believe we are letting Danks drown like this. He has been so much more than we could have asked, and we are doing absolutely nothing to help the kid.

Danks doesnt deserve 4ER, that is terrible scorekeeping They can't call it an error when nobody touches it. Tons of balls are misplayed or misread and they drop in front or go over an outfielder's head (see Mackowiak last year) and none of them are ruled as errors. RockRaines
(4) the batter reaches first base safely on a fair ball that has not been touched by a fielder and that is in fair territory when the ball reaches the outfield, unless in the scorer's judgment the ball could have been handled with ordinary effort;
