HuskyCaucasian
Clinton got caught in another "lie" or should I say "stretch of the truth". She said recently that long democratic primaries are not unusual. Her husband didnt win until June. The problem? His biggest "opponent", Paul Tsongas, dropped out in March! He ran most of the rest of the states uncontested. So, though he technically didn't have the "official" delegate count until June, he won in March. Greg The Bull Luzinski
FWIW, ABC 7's Andy Shaw said on the 4:00 news from HRC's Hammond,IN visit that HRC has a lead in Indiana polls because of popular senator Evan Bayh. Speaking as a Hoosier, most of us in the NW part of Indiana are really not big fans of your senator after he tried to built an airport on top of us as governor in the early 90's among other things. Most polls I have seen Obama with a healthy lead in the polls. So Andy Shaw, look in the mirror with your bad hair piece and ask yourself, who are you crappin'? Pollster.com only has 1 poll for Indiana this year, and it's from mid-Feb, and shows Obama 40 Hillary 25 with 36% undecided. If they have polling showing HRC on top, they ought to release it. They'd get a ton of press being first out of the gate polling that state.

HuskyCaucasian
If Clinton treats her campaign this way, how will she run the country? Cash Strapped Clinton Fails To Pay Bills Hillary Rodham Clinton's cash-strapped presidential campaign has been putting off paying hundreds of bills for months -- freeing up cash for critical media buys, but also earning the campaign a reputation as something of a deadbeat in some small business circles. A pair of Ohio companies owed more than $25,000 by Clinton for staging events for her campaign are warning others in the tight-knit event production community -- and anyone else who will listen -- to get their cash upfront when doing business with her. Her campaign, say representatives of the two companies, has stopped returning phone calls and e-mails seeking payment of outstanding invoices. One even got no response from a certified letter. bmags
there was an article in the sunday Trib about a guy who printed signs for an alderman, he was saying that candidates who lose elections rarely pay their debts. It was interesting.
HuskyCaucasian
Clinton campaign manager served on board of failed subprime lender uh oh. Hillary Rodham Clinton's campaign manager, Maggie Williams, earned about $200,000 on the board of a Long Island subprime lender that charged prepayment penalties — a practice that Clinton, a critic of the subprime industry, now seeks to eliminate. So we can have a thread that's several pages long about what a pastor said but when Hillary's campaign manager was actually involved in something that has affected thousands of families in our country we aren't allowed to mention it? I thought the economy has become the #1 campaign issue. EDIT: I wanted to also mention that Obama has gotten a lot of flack for who he surrounds himself with. Look at Clinton. She herself served on the Walmart board, a union-busting company and now her campaign manager is someone who was on the board for a predatory lending company. NorthSideSox72
Clinton's lead in PA shrinks further, to just 5 points. Was 10 points a week ago, and in the teens before that. I had said before, if Obama wins PA, with the additional pressure from the party, Clinton drops out. But I thought that Obama winning PA was a stretch. Maybe its not such a stretch. DBAHO
Well that's good, he's making headway there. And hopefully with him spending more etc. and Hilary making some errors e.g Bosnia, that margin continues to fall. A win for Obama would effectively knock Hilary out probably, but even a close win won't really do Clinton much good in terms of the overall delegate numbers.
