46bearsd
Is there a place where I can see when his next start will be, or the whole barons' rotation for that matter. I live in the area and want to watch him

Whitewashed in '05
Speaking of Gio, he is on FIRE! "Gio Gonzalez apparently has conquered Southern League competition. The 22-year-old southpaw fanned a career-high 13 over seven innings Friday, leading Double-A Birmingham to a 6-3 victory over Huntsville. Gonzalez improved to 4-1 with a 1.91 ERA and has 43 strikeouts and nine walks over 28 1/3 innings, giving up just 17 hits. Gonzalez has 25 strikeouts and two walks over his last 13 innings pitched. ... Heath Phillips struck out eight over eight innings, but it wasn't enough to prevent Charlotte's 5-2 loss to Durham. ... Francisco Hernandez finished a home run short of the cycle, raising his average to .326, but Class A Kannapolis dropped a 7-3 decision to Asheville." winninguglyin83
Gio and Eggie are dealing in birmingham. add Cassel and McCullough to the list and hopefully we'll have a decent staff in a few years.
BearSox
Our AAA rotation is looking like something like this probably come the end of the year.... Floyd, Broadway, Gio, Egbert, Russell. I see both Phillips and Haeger going bye-bye, and Nunez sucks ass anyway. And when we trade or let Buehrle go, or even both, we can let those guys compete in camp for the opning spots.
