Jordan4life_2007
QUOTE(Gene Honda Civic @ Apr 27, 2007 -> 08:43 PM) You're telling me you couldn't predict Pods injury? It's the 4th straight year he experienced "unrelated" problems with his groin. You're telling me you're surprised that Thome is headed for the DL? So we shouldn't have brought Thome back? Is that what you're saying?
santo=dorf
I wouldn't have mind Nixon as a platoon player, but I thought Jose Cruz Jr. would've been a good partner for Mack.

CWSGuy406
We're not going to win the AL Central with Nixon as our everyday LF... Because...? Because our defense is worse? Oh, right, I must've forgotten the gold-glover #22 we've had prancing out there the past two years. Career OPS+? That's your arguement? quote] What's your argument? Oh, right, 33 at-bats. Nice. And it's half ass because he's only a part-time player. What's Podsednik? Well damn that Kenny Williams to hell for not jumping on Mr. Trot Nixon. fathom
Super...just amazing pitch selection this inning. Contreras needs to find his fastball and forkball, because he's medicore right now. Someone might want to wake Ozzie up. Why have 3 lefties in your bullpen if you won't use them when your pitcher is struggling? QUOTE(Gene Honda Civic @ Apr 28, 2007 -> 01:50 AM) Good job, Fathom. I'm not the one that brought up OPS+. I realized before the season that there were pros and cons to bringing back Pods. But it doesn't matter what me, you or anybody thinks. Kenny was banking on a bounce back year from Pods. There was nothing else out there that would've made us legitimately better. Next off-season? Different story. I expect a change to be made.
