Weaver wasn't really sharp to start the game. Last inning he had better stuff. As long as a pitcher throws a change-up against the Sox, he'll have success.

Well we're not going to be THAT bad all season. This offense is far from terrific but it's certainly not that bad.

The problem with Thome being out is that our OBP will drop significantly.
