Kyyle23
http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2007/foot...k.ap/index.html Hmmm, Vick takes no responsibility and blames his family. No way. He is building up quite the rap sheet in the past couple of years. Drugs, Sex, Dogfighting. He is making Marcus look better by the minute. Kalapse
Uh-Oh, looks like Vick may be caught up in a few fibs. So he says he doesn't live there and that only his Cousin (I believe) uses that Mansion however one of Vick's charitable organizations, VicksK9Kennels is based out of that address and all dogs collected by the charity are sent there. So the dogs he's been collecting through his charitable organization which is for the betterment of the animals and completely opposed to Dog Fights have been used for dog fights at Michael Vick's home. I can't wait until he's out of the NFL, it looks like his brother is pretty much done, hopefully he can follow suit some time sooner rather than later. Kyyle23
Clinton Portis thinks that what Vick does with his dogs is his business. Its nice to know that Portis is so forthcoming about where to find dogfighting rings, Im sure the authorities will be asking him about those backroads dogfights he talked about. Kyyle23
QUOTE(StrangeSox @ May 28, 2007 -> 10:09 AM) Whats the maximum sentence for this level of animal cruelty? Its usually not too bad because animals are considered property. If you ever watch Animal Cops, these guys get away with it pretty much by saying "It isnt my dog", and Vicks "I dont live there" excuse is pretty common too. No matter what, the dogs always lose in this situation. they are raised to fight and kill, and they end up being destroyed whether they are good or bad at fighting. Chisoxfn
I just want to say that I hope someone puts Mike Vick in a cage and lets those dogs go to town on him. What a sick f***...I hope he gets jail time, gets suspended by the NFL and has the entire world turn on "Mike Vick". I dislike him more than any other player in the NFL now. southsider2k5
This ought to be an interesting test of the new, tougher disipline rules. Will they actually step forward and give Vick a suspension of at least half of a season for this stuff? I hope so, otherwise its not worth a damn. I think it depends on the criminal case that winds up coming out of it. If no charges are ever brought, can the NFL seriously suspend him? What happens if charges are brought, he's suspended, and then winds up not guilty for some reason? I don't think his season this year is going to be in jeopardy at all, but depending on the court case, his 08 campaign could really be. And he still had the hammer come down. The NFL is on an image kick lately, and Vick hasnt done anything to help that image in a few years. Bringing bongs on a plane(jewelry case, yeah right), fighting dogs, spreading STDs, battery, he is everything the NFL is taking a stance against rolled into one. PacMan even without the shooting that took place that night still beat up a women. Not 2 mention the sheer amount of times he has been arrested. Than he says he will stay clear of strip clubs and the night before he meets the commisioner for an appeal he goes to a strip club.

Im not arguing that Pacman is or is not a douche bag, Im just saying that he hasnt been charged with anything and he still had a suspension by the NFL, meaning that being found guilty or not guilty in court doesnt matter in Roger Goodells world. Well I just think its a totally different situation with Vick than it was with Pacman. I think Vick is going to have to face some sort of suspension regardless of what happens in the courts just dont know the length. Also Vick is different from all the other players suspended in the fact he is the face of the franchise and one of the biggest stars in the NFL.
