joeynach
Mercy that was ridicolous. They had like 12 hits id say half were these little 4 hopper ground balls or jam shot bloopers with broken bats that just reaching the outfield. This is getting a little too aberration-like for me to consider quality baseball play. We had 8 hits yesterday drew 4 walks and stranded all 12 with 0 runs and then today. Man I dont remember ever before seeing this much un traditional like stuff. Just weird.
Flash Tizzle
They're still hits, regardless of how far they fall from an infielder. Our pathetic offense wishes they could have any type of hit these last several days. Their inability to drive in baserunners isn't "untraditional;" it's just bad baseball. Neither is an opposing team making contact with a fastball in a hitters count. Edited April 29, 2007 by Flash Tizzle

dagotony06
This team is a .500 team. They will play this kind of ball the whole year. It's either homerun or nothing. Walker should be fired for our lack of having a decent hitting approach. KW did nothing this offseason to help this team win now. Not one thing. All second half of last year and so far this year has been the same crap with this team. Hit a homer, or don't hit at all.

Without Mr. Thome, and with none of their best 4 other hitters doing anything reasonable with the bat, and with virtually no youth on the field it seems...this team is a below .500 team. If they put Thome in this lineup, they are a slightly above .500 team...if a few people start hitting then we'll see, but right now, this team is not a .500 team. If the Twins and Indians continue to get quality outings from the likes of Ortiz, Silva, and Carmona, we have no chance this year. The Indians are playing good baseball right now. Jimbo's Drinker
I would love some bloops once in a while, sure beats the sit back and pray for a homer offense.
