fathom
Ah, Grinder ball at it's best. I can't stand Iguchi these days either. Let him leave as a FA and find a 2nd baseman who can also hit LHP and catch a throw.
santo=dorf
Wait, I thought the way Darin slides hard into was good thing and is something the team needed. Perhaps we should sent Iguchi back down in the order???

Mr. Showtime
QUOTE(fathom @ May 4, 2007 -> 09:56 PM) Actually a good AB by Sweeney. And don't kid yourself about Anderson....he won't come up unless Erstad is injured. Doesn't Erstad have a clause in his deal that gets him "x million" next year if he hits "x AB's" this year? Brian
QUOTE(ChWRoCk2 @ May 4, 2007 -> 09:59 PM) OMFG, Erstad which team are you on today? No joke. In real time, I understood him over sliding but the replay, he could of easily reached back for the bag.
fathom
QUOTE(CWSGuy406 @ May 5, 2007 -> 02:59 AM) Can someone on this team hit a hanging slider? Iguchi got one 0-1, Crede got one 3-2. What a joke. Nice, Erstad. Iguchi is one of the worst players at hitting hanging pitches in all of baseball. It's a miracle he hit that hanging pitch off of Wells in the ALDS. Um, no. Did you watch the Detroit game? Nice job JD. KEEP THE LINE MOVING!!!

fathom
PK has more shoulders shrugs than hits this year. And I don't blame Erstad for that slider...he had to break up a possible triple play. Blame Iguchi for another terrible AB with RISP.

How many closers are perfect? He had a horrible ball called in that match-up...the calls goes the other way and he's out of the game with a save. By your logic, we don't have any pitchers in our bullpen after Jenks capable of closing.
