southsider2k5 Posted May 7, 2007 Share Posted May 7, 2007 http://www.fox5vegas.com/news/13268708/detail.html LAS VEGAS, Nev. -- One man was killed early Monday morning and another person was injured in an explosion in the Luxor hotel-casino's parking garage. Police said a backpack exploded while a man was removing it from atop his car a little after 4 a.m. on the second floor of the parking structure behind the Luxor. The blast killed the man and injured another person, who was taken to a local hospital. Both people were believed to be employees of the hotel-casino, Fox 5 News reported. Metro police said they were treating the incident as a homicide with an unusual method. They said that there was no threat to customers at the Luxor, and that the victim was the intended target. The impression I got was someone left in on there car and it blew up when the hotel employee was taking it off and they are implying that the employee was the target.
