BigSqwert
When Pods comes back I don't want him leading off. Here's a stat I just plucked from the Sox Machine blog: Hitting first: With a 2-for-5 night including a double, Darin Erstad is now hitting .333/.377/.458 out of the leadoff spot. How does that compare to other leadoff hitters around the league? * Grady Sizemore: .254/.405/.432 * Johnny Damon: .258/.380/.360 * Curtis Granderson: .314/.364/.667 * Ichiro: .274/.341/.410 * David DeJesus: .279/.379/.452 * Brian Roberts: .276/.366/.394 * Kenny Lofton: .240/.311/.
NorthSideSox72
QUOTE(YASNY @ May 10, 2007 -> 07:53 AM) Really? I was under the impression Erstad has been doing quite well since being moved to the leadoff spot. Hey, long time no see. Nice to see you around. QUOTE(BigSqwert @ May 10, 2007 -> 09:33 AM) When Pods comes back I don't want him leading off. Here's a stat I just plucked from the Sox Machine blog: I have to admit, Erstad is doing far better than I would have thought possible. If he is still playing similar baseball in a month or two, then I'll take my crow fried, thank you.
AWhiteSoxinNJ
QUOTE(witesoxfan @ May 10, 2007 -> 08:41 AM) I really don't see how the Sox can legitamately justify it if he keeps looking like he has at the plate over the past week or so. As the other thread says, there going to send him down so he can play everyday.
