SoxAce
Molina calls a pretty decent game. Even Buehrle gave him props.
fathom
Wow, that wasn't close to being a strike. I'll take it though, especially if it shuts Hawk up about yesterday.
caulfield12
QUOTE(danman31 @ May 9, 2007 -> 07:37 PM) No it doesn't, it was a single. He advanced to 2nd on the throw. Hmmm...thought it was close enough to give him a double. I guess Tyner was shading him down the line, same as Erstad in the first.
Kyyle23
I dont know about you guys, but I am excited every time I see Sweeney in the lineup. I really think he is going to be something special, and it is gonna be a damn shame when(if?) Pods comes back to see his bat leave the lineup. I was actually surprised DJ started talking about it first.

fathom
Nice job by Danks throwing strikes there. Anyone else notice how much strong Ozuna's arm is than Iguchi's?

caulfield12
QUOTE(fathom @ May 9, 2007 -> 07:42 PM) Nice job by Danks throwing strikes there. Anyone else notice how much strong Ozuna's arm is than Iguchi's? That's why he came up as a SS through the Cardinals system. Last year, we were at 23-9 with a 3.5 game lead over DET. OUCH. Definitely looks like it...we haven't had many "easy" wins this year. Of course, that's the way it was in 2005 too. Except you knew a one-run lead was money then. caulfield12
QUOTE(danman31 @ May 9, 2007 -> 07:49 PM) Doubtful. Grindtastic!!! Nice play Darin. Mackowiak would have played that into a triple or inside the park home run for sure. 7 runs scored for Danks in first 6 games. 4 tonight, must feel like he's won the lottery.
