better surprise this year, Danks or AAAAAAardsma?

I think you'd have to put Erstad in that list as well...

Did Ryan really come through our minor league system? Hard to believe, a guy with such a good presence at the plate, and GREAT hustle could do that. I mean, look at Brian Anderson and Joe Borchard compared to him. Good ball player already, even this early into his career.

And wow, Molina is terrible.

His plate discipline is the key in my eyes. He's very patient.

Wow Molina....hopefully this is his last start in the majors. Sweeney worked that count nicely....he'll be so good when he learns to clear his hips.

Keep him away from Walker. He is making contact and is hitting it where its pitched. Unlike the usual prospect IE Molina. Who gets pitched away, and looks stupid trying to pull the outside pitch.

It's just the general maturity of a hitter, and how they add more power. They learn how to turn on that inside fastball. The most impressive swing by Sweeney this year was how he stayed back on the K-Rod curved and lined it down the right field line.

Danks is just flying right now, and it looks like he's rushing his delivery a bit.

Just keep throwing strikes when it gets to 3-2.
