Oz actually was talking nice about Brian

"If you go down and not perform, you could stay there for a little while. He took it the right way. He took it the way everyone should take the game."

Guillen fully expects to see Anderson again this season and has just as high expectations in regard to Anderson still becoming a productive Major Leaguer.

///////

"He could go down there and quit and waste one year, or go down and play the game the way he should be playing the game. He took it the right way ... Brian is a big-league player, but sometime big-league players have to prepare themselves better than others, physically and mentally."

That was terrible catching fundamentals by Redmond there. If he lets the ball get to him (as well as lining up on the plate) instead of grabbing it a few feet in front of the base line and trying to pull the tag, Ryan's out very easily.

Ryan is never out easily.

bye gardy!

I'm almost certain that Gardenhire asked the ump to toss him. During the argument, he was waving his arms and doing all the things you do that get you tossed, but the ump wouldn't do it. Finally, as the crowd was getting into it, Gardenhire leaned into the umpire's ear and then pulled back. A few seconds later, he got tossed. I think that's why Konerko was laughing.

Even the Twins announcers say he was safe. Gardy just wanted to get tossed.

I can understand why Gardy argued it, the throw beat him by a ton. With no real good view of the plate, it wasn't surprising he was out there. Redmond hung Gardy out to dry.
