Heads22
Stavo will get his first hit in the bottom half of this inning. And he's gonna look good doin it. Wow, following GameCast, Jose really is piddling around.

Gene Honda Civic
QUOTE(chisox72 @ May 16, 2007 -> 09:03 PM) Some people are never satisfied... Oh I f***ing love having a .258/.303/.348 hitter in the #1 spot, guaranteed to get 4-5 at-bats every game, the whole time being fellated by the announcers, home and away, for being such a gritty ballplayer, which we all know is code for "white" and "no longer talented." At least he made a great play on that one...
fathom
Well, that should end every Erstad argument. That was a miserable play. Very likely just cost us the game. This is one of the worst defensive innings in Sox history.

fathom
That's about the 4th miscue I can recall Erstad having in CF this year. At this rate, he'll have about 15 this year, and Hawk will say he's the greatest CF of all time.

Very likely just cost us the game. This is one of the worst defensive innings in Sox history. Especially since there has never been an outfielder in a Sox uniform that has misread or gotten a poor jump on the ball. Don't talk about Uribe's error or the fact that Crede looked back to first instead of second on the line out... whitesoxfan101
We gave them SIX OUTS that inning. Uribe, Crede, and Erstad all with honors on their fine play. We're lucky they only got 2, going to be hard to overcome having to get 30 outs.

End the Erstad argument ? Cost us the game ? Worst defensive inning in White Sox history ? You've been around for 100+ years ?? If you asked me before the game who were the 3 best Sox defensive players on the field, I'd say Crede, Uribe, and Erstad. I doubt there will be another game this year when all three of them make a big miscue during the same game. And I think we have no chance against Wang and his sinker, especially with this bogus lineup we have tonight.
