southsideirish71
Put your hands together for the worst offense in the majors, stranding more runners in scoring position with no outs. Keep swinging for the fences boys, and then blame weather, depression, curses and whatever for your struggles instead of trying to hit every f***ing pitch over the fence. fathom
QUOTE(santo=dorf @ May 17, 2007 -> 02:37 AM) Crede's popup + Wang's sinker = screaming line drive? Please? He usually looks good against him. If the field wasn't wet, that ball might have hopped over ARod's head. So far, Mientkiewicz makes the tough pick, and we don't make the big defensive play. Friend of Nordhagen
QUOTE(Kalapse @ May 16, 2007 -> 09:37 PM) Why is Joe Crede so slow? He appears to be fairly athletic, why does he move at such a slow pace when putting one leg in front of the other? Crede's alpha gets in the way of his beta. He's working on it. Well if he hits like this for the rest of the season a bag of baseballs.

The commercial makes no sense. They show a guy with an OBP sub 300. At least Pods could claim injury last year when he was sub 300 OBP. Grinderstad is healthy I guess. fathom
Sometimes you have to laugh that not only are we giving a lot of at-bats to a struggling utility player, but he's also batting 5th in our lineup. I'm shocked we have the record we do with the mediocre lineups we're putting out on the field.
CaliSoxFanViaSWside
QUOTE(vandy125 @ May 16, 2007 -> 07:29 PM) Which is still better than Konerko, Dye, and Crede. They also never hit into DPs, especially Konerko. I'm not saying that he's doing really well. Just saying how about we beat on another dead horse. Amen. southsideirish71
QUOTE(Heads22 @ May 16, 2007 -> 09:41 PM) The Charlotte Knights might be worse. Well the twins have been a success by making their minors emulate their majors so the kids can learn how to play major league baseball. We are trying to bring corpseball to all levels of our system. The basics of the long looping swing. How to lift and pull.

They should do one with Pods, but have those little arrows point to different parts of his groin: "Pulled left abductor" -- "Strained right abductor" -- "Hernia" Then flash to: "Groin on 'em on. Groin 'em over. Groin 'em in. Sox." This would be a good ad.

He's going to end up missing about 50 games due to this injury, and that seems like a ton for a strained muscle.
