I thought the swings were actually fine.

There's something to be said about the team's baseball IQ when your players are taking huge HR cuts with no outs and two men on against a tough sinkerballer

It's too f***ing wet out there. And dark, way too dark.

We need to hire someone outside of the organization for the next hitting instructor. The lift and pull long looping swing poison is deeply rooted in the minors here. Someone that can teach a line drive swing, and that right field is not out, you can hit to all fields.

They weren't huge though. PK took a nice swing, as he was able to elevate the ball. He's a bad match-up against Wang though, as he knows if he hits the low sinker, it's an automatic double play. Mackowiak had a good approach at the first pitch, he just popped it up.

That's a fair ball. Even the Yankee announcers admitted it. They were just impressed Ozzie didn't argue.

It was foul....tell the Yankees announcers to go back to fellating Clemens.

At least during the corpseball era, they'd break out once or twice a week and score 10 runs in a game. These guys are consistently mediocre.

Oh-Oh-Oh-Oh

Oh-Oh-Oh-Oh

Oh-Oh-Oh-Oh

Oh-Oh-Oh-Oh

Everybody was kung fu fighting

Those kids were fast as lighting

In fact a little bit frightning

But fought with expert timing

There were funky china men

From funky china town

They were choping them up

They were choping them down

It's an ancient chinese art

And everybody knew their part

From a faintin' to a snif

And a kicking from the hip

Everybody was kung fu fightin

Those kids were fast as lightin

In fact it was a little bit frightnin

But they fought with expert timing

There was funky Militin

And little Sammy Chow

He said: Here comes the big boss

Let's get it on

He took a vaul and made a stand

Started swaying with the hand

But emotion made me skip

Now into a brand new trip

Everybody was kung fu fighting

Those kids were fast as lighting

In fact it was a little bit frightning

But they did it with expert timing

Oh-Oh-Oh-Oh

Oh-Oh-Oh-Oh

Oh-Oh-Oh-Oh

Oh-Oh-Oh-Oh

Everybody was kung fu fighting

Those kids were fast as lighting

In fact it was a little bit frightning

Make sure you have expert timing

Has fast as lighting

Listen to Grandma Erstad make excuses. It's f***ing sickening.

Haha, I was telling Heads just now that Erstad "slipped."

I am waiting to hear about the many arm angles of Cy Wang.

Haha.

There are some funny things being said in this thread.

I love it.

Well the Coach with your name also associates hitting with obscure non-baseball bulls*** also.

You're really getting pissed off over a small joke? Lighten up.

PS: slumps don't last two months.

PPS: I'm on your side with regard to approach and instruction, but I guess I'm an advocate of all-or-nothing HR-swings-around-the-posie.
