greg775
I can't believe Crede, Dye and Paulie (nice HR in game one though) can't get it going. If they were having regular years we'd be 10 over .500 with our pitching. AJ too. Personally I'd rather have had a better offseason move than Erstad. fathom
I wish there was reason for optimism about this offense for the next few years. When Konerko, Thome, and AJP are the only people you know will be here in two years, that's troubling. The Erstad acquisition was good....as a 4th outfielder who could face tough righties. The Toby Hall acquisition was great....he'll make a solid back-up first baseman when he returns. Whitewashed in '05
QUOTE(southsideirish71 @ May 16, 2007 -> 11:09 PM) Someone needs to tell Walker we no longer need your services. ^^ What he said. It's really crazy to see this team and look at the record. We can only hope that we stay within shooting distance of the top teams and the Twins keep falling so much they can't dig themselves out. southsideirish71
Hawk is blaming the umps for Sisco sucking. If its a teacup Hawk, then our hitters are less that s***ty.
greg775
Sisco like you said is worthless if he can't rear back let it go and throw strikes, not balls. Randy Johnson needs to start an offseason academy to teach tall guys how to pitch.
fathom
If the Sox think the umpiring is so bad, then have Ozzie go out there and get tossed. If not, then quit the complaining and make another pitch.

Whitewashed in '05
That makes 2 pitchers in our bullpen with ERA's at 6 or higher. Only 2 with ERA's lower than 3.5, Aardsma and Jenks.

His front foot moves towards third base, and then he swings. Dont they fix that s*** in high school. What does Walk do again. It's actually how many righties try to hit Rivera and his cutter. It's shocking that Uribe has had the best approach at the plate consistently this year.
