RME JICO
2 out of 3 vs the Bronx Bombers, I'll take it! Great game all around! 4 straight series wins (unbelievable with that offense)! Dye heating up. Gooch 4-4 in plate appearances. Its a start. Jon 7 straight starts with 7 or more innings - NICE! SoxAce
Sox with a great win followed by a Cubs horrid loss. Hopefully we'll bring that momentum this series. Taking 2 out of 3 from the Yanks... impressive.
witesoxfan
since when did sweeping a team become illegal? I like winning series and all, and they're starting to play better, but dammit, I want to sweep a team for once.

danman31
8-3 in their last 11! Nice job Sox, way to cancel out that 5 game losing streak quickly. Only 3 out of the wild card and 3.5 out of 1st. Keep rolling and move up the standings.
Queen Prawn
WOOHOO! Go SOX! I was entertained when yahoo had posted Jenks replacing Jenks in the top of the 9th lol.

He will prob just skip his turn and keep most of the guys on regular rest.
santo=dorf
For as s***ty as a team that Soxtalk paints the White Sox as, they sure do win a lot of series.
TheBigHurt
QUOTE(Tony82087 @ May 17, 2007 -> 04:13 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> ^^ I will take a series win every day of the week, but lets go for the kill. I am still pissed about the 2nd game last night. Most frustrated I have been after a loss in a while. Just so sad. Lets sweep this weekend, just dominate Seriously, that game for the Yanks was like, "Hey, let's have some fun with this Sisco kid! Ha! Yeah! A home run! Okay, now let's get another one! YEAH! Now some singles..." Jeez.
claydude14
Glad to hear they won. Really wish I could have watched this or yesterday's day victory live instead of having to sit through last night's game, but I'll take the Ws anyway we can get them. Gene Honda Civic
QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ May 17, 2007 -> 03:59 PM) One of those all around feel good games. Jenks has 13 saves already, that's pretty nice. And Thornton has one..... 14 of our 20 wins have been "saved"... That's a high percentage thanks to our s***ty offense. Here's a list of our wins by more than 3 runs. 1. Buehlre's no-hitter 2. I'll get back to you... we're still waiting. 14 saves plus buehrle's no hitter and Contreras' comlpete game, means the other 4 wins which came by less than three either were of the walk-off variety (aj's literal walkoff) or bullpen manufactured close games (not in the good way) in wins pulled from the ashes of blown saves/holds. CaliSoxFanViaSWside
QUOTE(RME JICO @ May 17, 2007 -> 02:12 PM) I think it has something to due with the lineup changes. Players can't get into a rhythm. I think it has something to do with pitiful hitting. A sweep of the Cubs and this place might actually stop sounding like a bunch of armchair managers/GM's for a few days.
