RME JICO
Career .353 OBP and .827 OPS, lifetime vs LHP .290/.389/.527/.917 Only 30 yrs old. Would he be a viable backup against LHP?
santo=dorf
Wow, how could Atlanta be sooooo stupid with those numbers? .172/.304/.259 overall this year .209/.320/.326 vs. LHP this year. The career NL hitter was an absolute wreck for the Yanks last season too. Put a fork in him

The career NL hitter was an absolute wreck for the Yanks last season too. Put a fork in him Those numbers look like he would fit right in with the Sox. Actually his OBP is too high, never mind. BearSox
Scott Thorman has been tearing the cover off the ball as well. Big factor for Wilson's release.
Harry Chappas
He has caught in the past and could be an emergency guy should AJ and Hall play in the same game with one as a DH and they other get hurt.
RME JICO
First baseman Craig Wilson has cleared waivers and is now a free agent. Wilson is available for any team to sign at the Major League Baseball's minimum salary of $380,000. The Pirates are among several teams that will likely have interest in adding the bargain bat. http://www.post-gazette.com/pg/07142/787954-63.stm
Benchwarmerjim
I heard on the local sports station that the he/his agent contacted the Twins to see if they want his services and the Twins would get back to him on that

Reddy
QUOTE(RME JICO @ May 28, 2007 -> 07:38 AM) Sox just signed him. that would be amazing cuz we could use it but... really? found it: Craig Wilson-1B- Braves May. 28 - 12:12 am et According to FOXSports.com, the White Sox have signed Craig Wilson to a minor league deal. The White Sox could use Wilson's bat if he can get hot for a couple of weeks in Triple-A. There's an opening on the roster now after Pablo Ozuna went down today, but it'd make more sense to let Wilson try to regain his swing against minor league pitching first.
