SoxAce
That would be something seeing Ichiro pitch. He already throws harder than most of our pitchers.
jackie hayes
I've heard that Tiger is one hell of an athlete. Anyway, a baseball player shouldn't throw stones regarding the athleticism of a particular sport. Not with Ponson showing up here and there. And THERE. southsider2k5
What an interesting person. Its too bad the language barrier doesn't allow more interviews with him to be published.
Palehosefan
• On performance-enhancing drugs: "When you take steroids, it's not as if wings grow out of your back, and you start flying all over the place and stealing home runs (from hitters). The word 'cheating' doesn't apply for me regarding steroids." • Being an entertainer: "I want to be the kind of player who people feel it is worth paying the money to come out and watch. ... When I meet players who are playing just to win, that angers me." Very interesting quotes, not sure what to make of them combined with his earlier notion of wanting to play for a winner.
