Milkman delivers
It's like every starter is guaranteed to go at least 6 (and probably 7) innings against us.

soxfan3530
another crap inning for the offense. lets get some runners on base! QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ May 18, 2007 -> 02:31 PM) It's like every starter is guaranteed to go at least 6 (and probably 7) innings against us. Luckily our pitchers are guranteed to go 6 or 7 this year as well.

retro1983hat
Of course MB pitches the game I want to go the longest. I was hoping to get home and see the end. Oh well, Contreras will probably have a 75 pitch first inning Sunday when I am at the Shrine.
southsider2k5
The pitchers are just rolling. 2-1 Sox after 5 fulling innings from the Toilet Bowl.
Milkman delivers
QUOTE(GoSox05 @ May 18, 2007 -> 03:35 PM) Maybe Desalvo for the Yankees yesterday. That would make sense. It just seems that every starter goes deep into games against this team. And they especially seem to breeze through the first 3 innings or so. Thankfully, as mentioned before, our starters are doing just about the same thing.

Milkman delivers
Looking at the individual averages, it's very possible that Thome might be the only regular to hit .300 this year. I'm sure most, if not all, of the hitters will improve as the year goes on, but they've gotten themselves in such a terrible hole so deep into the season that they probably can't raise their averages that much.
