Iguchicago
Yea the games over except we have 6 more outs, and it's the f***ing Cubs. Stop b****ing about Ozzie.
TitoMB345
Thorton and MacDougal of '07 = Politte and Cotts of '06. Sad. Maybe we can trade MacDougal for the Aardsma of '07.
GoSox05
QUOTE(caulfield12 @ May 18, 2007 -> 03:25 PM) Ummm...why don't we just waive him? If you give up on every pitcher after they struggle once, we wouldn't have a bullpen. Aardsma hasn't been automatic recently either, he gave up a homer the other day. The problem is our bullpen is overrated. We have just as many blown saves as any team in the majors. Mac has blown more than one game.
nitetrain8601
Fantastic, let's put Boone, I can't fkn pitch Logan in there. Ozzie has conceded this game.
WHarris1
Inning over, f***ing finally. As much as the Cubs pen has struggled even they can get outs against this lineup.

JohnCangelosi
QUOTE(TitoMB345 @ May 18, 2007 -> 03:24 PM) Why did MacDougal come in over Aardsma when we need one out? How many f**king g*d d#mn blown f**king leads has this bullpen given up already in the late innings this year??????
dagotony06
If he is gonna bring in Mac, bring him in to face Blanco. The guys is terrible when he comes in with men on base!!! Unreal!!!
Capn12
QUOTE(GoSox05 @ May 18, 2007 -> 04:26 PM) Ozuna 0-4 with a error. Nice game. Other third base options were.... Yeah indeed. In other news, face it. Our bullpen isn't that good. People creamed their pants when they saw a bunch of guys who 'can' throw mid to upper 90s, but point me to one that has consistently thrown that hard? Low 90s, straight fastballs get hit by even the Washington Nationals.
caulfield12
QUOTE(GoSox05 @ May 18, 2007 -> 03:27 PM) Mac has blown more than one game. And so has Thornton...if we become a team of just Jenks and 2 more relievers, we're done anyway, we can't compete without an offense and solid bullpen 1-6. And we give up almost as much defense with Hall as the offense he creates. Catch 22. Edited May 18, 2007 by caulfield12
