Well maybe because thats the nature of being a baseball fan but if you notice a few people said let him hit, he thrives on those situations.

And I definitely agree with it.

Real quick: if you pull AJ for Hall in that situation, then you do have a major controversy and big time chemistry issues.

Yes you are correct. Unfortunately that would be the case. AJP is tremendously competitive, I mean really really competitive. And he can't keep quiet either, hah. So yes there would have been issues.

Everyone knows that if AJ struck out, we'd be calling for Ozzies head. But since he hits a grand slam, it was the right move. Props to you, SoxTalkers.

I'd have still hit Toby, but hey it worked out well obviously. I would assume the A.J. in the clutch and he was teammates with Cotts and caught Cotts and Toby didn't and wasn't factors were taking into thought too.

Not really. You put Hall in and he's at D, and let's say he'd stranded the runners, singles are triples and it's a different game.

Great job AJ Pierzynski.

Toby kills LHP and that was his first start of the season hes going to have some rust. AJP has been better against lhp this season but still toby was brought here to help our club against lhp.

Ozzie got lucky, much like a good chunk of '05.

Nice job AJP.

I agree with your thoughts and its only fair that Guillen gets some props for showing faith in the guy who is known to thrive in those spots, right?
