A whole lotta people got Wii's for Christmas is my guess.

Yeah, add to that it's probably the most popular title behind the new Mario game and I see why. BTW, i've played the Super Mario Bros Wii game, its > Mario Kart Wii. Just snag that and you'll have a blast.

It's on my hit list. I played it for a minute at BestBuy... on the memories of my childhood.

Exactly. The Wii's entire library of worthwhile games is all based on our childhood memories.

I was reading a review of the upcoming game called Fragile Dreams:Farewell Ruins and looked to the sidebar at the "other games you might like" list. I never knew all of those games were even out for the Wii. I like the anime style RPGs, I wish I knew they were released, I would have more of them in my collection right now.

Fragile Dreams is one i have been keeping my eye on, Im hoping thats a good one.

maybe iit's because I don't have the nimble fingers of a 6 year old anymore, but damn, that game is tough.

You might also want to check out the two Tales of Symphonia games (one on Gamecube, one on Wii).

I have the gamecube version and I love it. However they changed the battle mode for the Wii version and the reviews I have read have really scared me off. Im waiting to see it in a bargain bin. But the first version is great, if a bit corny. The active battle instead of turn based is awesome

It's not that different, really.

I need a Wii version of Paperboy and Ken Griffey, Jr. Presents Major League Baseball and I will be in heaven.

OMG yes please! My brother and I spent so many hours playing World Series matchups in that game. While we tried playing with different teams, it always seemed like the best ones were the Twins vs Tigers, which is ironic because we both hate those teams so much now. But Kirby Puckett, Chuck Knoblock, Dan Gladden, Kent Hrbek, Shane Mack, Cecil Fielder, Mickey Tentelton, Lou Whitacker, Travis Fryman, Rob Deer, Twinkie Wells...man, those teams were fun back then.

Sadly, I was playing about a year or two ago, and SNES shut off, erasing all the players names. That was a sad day. Never had a chance to change them all again (except the Sox, of course).

Randy Johnson's fastball/slider combo in that game made it possible to throw a no-hitter every time. And who could forget Ken Griffey's home run cheat? Left, Left, Right, Right, Right, Left, Left

changes for 'Madden'?

During a conference call in which publisher Electronic Arts lowered its profit outlook for the fiscal year, CEO John Riccitiello says football fans will see "an innovative and new take" on the Madden NFL franchise, Shacknews reports. Riccitiello did not elaborate further on what that "new take" will be.
