For the rest of the day see WWW.WHITESOXALMANAC.COM 1995: The White Sox and Rangers split a doubleheader that totaled a record 7 hours and 39 minutes before 19,368 at Comiskey Park. The Sox won the first game 10-8 on the strength of a five-run eighth which saw the go-ahead and eventual winning run cross on a bases loaded walk to John Kruk, who was making his White Sox debut. The Sox dropped the second game 13-6. The doubleheader featured a combined 49 hits and a big league record tying 32 walks.
