I am no longer capable of commenting on Darin Erstad objectively. I have fallen in love, see?

Now you understand my issue with Brian Anderson, Jack Egbert and Andre Ethier. :P

Well, Erstad's a world champion and a gold glover in addition to a pretty boy. I imagine he won a Silver Slugger for his two thousand season, too. But even without that, he's fabulous.

Holy s***, we f***ing hit the wrong guy!

Unbelievable....nice that we left in Buehrle one hitter too long. Hitting Harris was definitley intentional. f*** you Ozzie!

Ozzie never leaves pitchers in too long (see almost every loss).

Seriously, who in their right f***ing mind hits a guy to put the tying run up to the plate?

I doubt that was Ozzie's call. He understands that Dukes is a good hitter, I'm sure, and he doesn't like to walk people to bring the tying run up, let alone hit someone to bring it up.

I think you're overreacting.

Buehrle was struggling almost every inning with his command. You have a righty in the bullpen who doesn't give up many homers against a guy who hits lefties better than righties. I missed the homer, as I was coming on to this site to say it's a good move that Ozzie went out to pull Buehrle.

If that was Buehrle or AJ's call, then that's even dumber. There's no doubt in my mind it was intentional.

Who should he have gone too, Aardsma or MacDougal? Both those guys have been absolutely terrible recently.

I still have faith in MacDougal, but that's because I don't know how people hit him.
