BearSox
This team is so bad right now, it is funny! The bright spots (if you'd call them that): Day finally showed that slider that was so raved about. The offense broke its 0-62 streak against opposing teams bullpens! And, Konerko still standing strong! - god, he has no confidence now. The Cowardly Lion would beat his ass. maggsmaggs
Fields not playing for Charlotte today, could he be called up or just an off-day? i really would prefer him to Crede right now.
dagotony06
Blow the whole team up. I'm sick of it all. They are embarassing. I wan't KW gone, Ozzie gone, Cooper and Walker should have been gone along time ago. Just rebuild the whole team. It would be more entertaining watching a bunch of kids play hard, than these overpaid assholes. Rebuild the whole f***ing team, including the minor league system. BearSox
QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ Jun 3, 2007 -> 03:28 PM) Are you kidding me? I think my heart skipped a few beats. Why? It was obviously a stumble. He fell the first time because he was horribly off-balance and the ball hit off of him. And when he was running to first, he was doing little short strides and tripped over his own foot (been there, done that... sadly). Ozzie did say there would be some changes come monday.... But yeah, I doubt it will be anything big. Probably switching Gonzalez for Wilson or even worse (or better?) for Thomas Perez. While I do agree with you about Walker, there is no way we could fire Cooper, especially the way the starters have been doing. He can tell them and work with them all he wants, but he isn't the guy coming out of the bullpen and sucking it up out there. Walker, on the other hand, has no reason to still have a job right now. None of the player's approaches have changed. He'll probably mess up Owens and the rest of them too.

I didn't see him running, I just saw him as he fell, and it scared the s*** out of me. Anyone who just sat there and laughed is pretty ridiculous, unless they saw him running the whole time and saw him trip on himself, which, from the replay, I don't think is possible. GreatScott82
Wow this team just finds ways to lose... Bullpen is horrible, no clutch hitting, the hitting in general is horrible (ESP vs Relievers) and this team is just boring to watch. No excitement whatssoever. Somebody let me know when changes are finally made.

Ozzie gone? Cooper should have been gone a LONG time ago?? When...when they were winning the World Series a year and half ago? LMAO Talk about reactionary piddle. Yes this team is playing bad, but if you think your methods are right...Whew, you live in a fantasy world. Let's put your theory to a test. Let's say a certain team that has talented players with a history of very good years and a good coaching staff with a history of winning had a bad season and they took your advice and "blew up their" team. That team would not be leading the AL central right now. aka Cleveland Indians. Feel smart now? Didn't think so. Injuries have plagued this team. Age is a factor. It is time for some changes, but to fire everyone and trade everyone is stupid. Edited June 3, 2007 by RibbieRubarb
ChWRoCk2
QUOTE(BearSox @ Jun 3, 2007 -> 03:33 PM) Giants........ Their current third basemen Feliz/Aurilia are both hitting better than Crede, that would be stupid of them to trade for Crede whos hitting worse. Only upside is that they get a younger player. If they do that there would have to be something else in the deal.

The last time I checked a pitching coach is also in charge of the pitchers coming out of the bullpen. And they aren't getting the job done. So he isn't getting his job done. You are missing my point anyway. I want everyone gone, start fresh. I would only hold onto Danks, Jenks, and Buehrle, but everyone on the offense, trade them away, and start fresh. And I mean everyone.

Anyone who just sat there and laughed is pretty ridiculous, unless they saw him running the whole time and saw him trip on himself, which, from the replay, I don't think is possible. are you kidding me... I am one of the biggest PK fans, and it was obvious even though they didn't show the whole thing. If he fell out of pain, you would be able to tell. He'd would have likely pulled his best Erstad impersonation. That fall reminded me of a couple years ago where when he was struggling, he just missed a granny vs. the DRays, and after he rounded first, he fell flat on his face. And the first fall wasn't anything out of the ordinary also. I think everyone who's played baseball has taken awful off-balance swings like that before. Also, PK is more durable then that. Listen, PK's been my favorite since 98 or 99 or whenever the hell that was, and I've been a Sox fan all my life, but sometimes you gotta sit back and instead of wipping the remote through the tv, you gotta laugh it off. The Giants move Aurillia to SS and Feliz to 1B, with Crede playing 3B. It is time for some changes, but to fire everyone and trade everyone is stupid. This team is Old and bad. That's what it comes down to. I understand they won a World series in 2005, and nobody was happier than me. But in all honesty I am starting to think it was just a magical year and we got extremely lucky. Since July of last year this team has looked like s***. Period. KW put this team together, and it isn't a good team. In fact IT SUCKS!! He's a smugass f***, who sold this team short and he deserves to go. You can't compare us to Cleveland, cause they are alot younger than us ALOT!! As for blaming injuires, they are part of the game last time I checked, so to use that as an excuse is stupid. Losers use that as an excuse, winners man the f*** up and play through it. This team doesn't suck because of injuries, it sucks cause they are old, and the GM f***ed up. Edited June 3, 2007 by diegotony06
